2023-2024 Academic year

  • Farm Credit Services of America - Hastings College and Farm Credit Services of America are offering 8 scholarships in the amount of $2,500 (non-renewable) to full time, undergraduate students with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Must be majoring in any one of the following: Agriculture, Business (finance, accounting or economics), computer science or pre-veterinary. Preference given to students from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota or Wyoming with financial need. Deadline: June 1, 2023

  • Education Quest Scholarship - Scholarship amounts vary ($500-$3,500). Applicants must demonstrate financial need as defined by the FAFSA, a resident of Nebraska and US Citizen. They must be enrolled at least half time as an Undergraduate student. This scholarship will help students who face significant obstacles to higher education that are not already receiving multiple scholarships from other providers. Please be sure your 2023-2024 FAFSA is filed so that your eligibility can be confirmed. Rolling deadline until all funding is awarded.

  • Quivey-Bay State Foundation Scholarship - This scholarship is made possible by the Council of Independent Nebraska Colleges Foundation. A one time, non-renewable scholarship for $1,153. Must be a legal resident of Nebraska, an Undergraduate attending full time with a cumulative "B" academic average or higher. Deadline: March 27, 2023

  • Kaufmann-Cummings Foundation Scholarship - This scholarship was made possible by the Council of Independent Nebraska Colleges Foundation. A one time, non-renewable scholarship for $1,000. Must be a legal resident of Nebraska with financial need with a cumulative "B" academic average or higher. Deadline: March 27, 2023

  • Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., USA - This scholarship was made possible by the Council of Independent Nebraska Colleges Foundation. A one time scholarship for $1,400. The recipient must be a US citizen and a resident of Nebraska, a full time student with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above pursuing an engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, electrical, agricultural, chemical) or a student majoring in business, finance, or other areas related to the manufacturing field. Deadline: March 27, 2023

  • Nebraska Academy of Sciences, Inc. - The NAS will award a $1,500 to a 2023-2024 junior or senior that is majoring in Natural sciences including chemistry, physics, biology and geology. For more information and requirements visit their website. Deadline: March 1, 2023.

  • Nebraska Society of CPA's The Foundation of the Nebraska Society of CPA's will be awarding 31 150-hour scholarships totalling $54,500 to accounting students throughout Nebraska. Must be an Accounting Major planning to sit for the CPA exam and spending the majority of his/her professional accounting career in Nebraska. Applicants are not required to have the highest grade point average. Please submit your application material in to Joan Primrose in FC140 (electronically or hardcopy) before April 10, 2023.   • Nebraska Bankers Association - The NBA Foundation will award up to (10) $2,000 scholarships for 23-24 Academic year. Applicant must be Full time student , Junior or senior standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0, a legal resident of Nebraska and studying business, finance, accounting, economics or another business related major. Deadline: January 31, 2023

  • Michael Moody Fitness Scholarship - This scholarship is worth $1,500. Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement, participation and leadership in school activities and work experience and interest in pursuing a career in the health and fitness related fields. They are accepting scholarship applications from August 1st, 2022 until 1,000 scholarship applications are submitted or August 1st, 2023, whichever comes first.   • The Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award Sweepstakes - No purchase or loan necessary. This Scholarship Award Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the US. Twelve Grand Prizes awarded. A $5,000 check made payable to the qualified institution reflected on the winner's declaration. To enter follow the links and instructions to complete and submit the registration form including a valid email address.

  • Attracting Excellence to Teaching Program - This is a forgivable loan in the amount of $3,000. The loan is forgiven if the student commits to becoming certified to teach in a shortage area AND teaches full time at an accredited or approved public or private school in Nebraska. Students can apply for and receive AETP loans annually. Applications are made available in October each year and are due by November 1st. Applicants must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program to be eligible to apply. For more information contact the Teacher Education Department at Hastings College or the AETP web site.

  • WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) -https://www.dol.gov/agencies/eta/wioa Providing services to Native American 's with career exploration and guidance, educational attainment, skills training all through Ponca Tribe of Nebraska. Please contact Financial Aid for more information.
