Michael Moody Fitness Scholarship » - This scholarship is worth $1,500 and is to be used for the 2021-2022 school year. Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement, participation, and leadership in school activities and work experience, and interest in pursuing a career in the health and fitness-related fields. They will be accepting scholarship applications from August 1st, 2020 until 1,000 scholarship applications are submitted or August 1st, 2021, whichever comes first. Beacon Scholarship for Rural America» - This scholarship will award $1,000 to one winner in the Spring and two winners in the Fall. Applicants must reside in a rural area and meet low income criteria outlined in the application with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Deadlines is Fall 2021: June 30, 2021. Attracting Excellence to Teaching Program - This is a forgivable loan in the amount of $3,000. The loan is forgiven if the student commits to becoming certified to teach in a shortage area AND teaches full time at an accredited or approved public or private school in Nebraska. Students can apply for and receive AETP loans annually. Applications are made available in October each year and are due by November 1st. Applicants must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program to be eligible to apply. For more information contact the Teacher Education Department at Hastings College or the AETP web site.
The Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award Sweepstakes - No purchase or loan necessary. This Scholarship Award Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the US. Twelve Grand Prizes awarded. A $5,000 check made payable to the qualified institution reflected on the winner's declaration. To enter follow the links and instructions to complete and submit the registration form including a valid email address.
Education Quest Scholarship - Scholarship amounts vary ($500 - $3,500) and are to be used for the 2021-2022 undergraduate tuition and fees. Applicants must demonstrate financial need as defined by the FAFSA, a resident of Nebraska and US Citizenship. They must be enrolled at least half time as an Undergraduate student. Please be sure your 2021-2022 FAFSA is filed so that your eligibility can be confirmed. Rolling deadline until all funding is awarded.
Quivey-Bay State Foundation Scholarship - This scholarship was made possible by the Council of Independent Nebraska Colleges Foundation. This is a one time, non-renewable scholarship, awarded for the 2021-2022 school year. Scholarship amount is $1,153. Must be a legal resident of Nebraska, cumulative "B" academic average or higher and be an undergraduate attending full time. Recipients will be required to complete a biographical form which is submitted to the Council of Independent Nebraska Colleges Foundation. DEADLINE TO APPLY: April 1, 2021
American Association of School Personnel Administrators (AASPA) will be awarding up to two scholarships to minority candidates entering the final year of teacher preparation for the field of education or school leadership. DEADLINE: May 31, 2021
The Give Back Scholarship sponsored by the CE Shop will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship for the 2021/2022 school year. Applicant must be enrolled full time and students of all majors are encouraged to apply. DEADLINE: July 31, 2021
