2022-2023 Academic year

  • Kinman-Oldfield Media Scholarship - is offering two $1,500 scholarships for the 2022-2023 Academic year. Applicant must be an undergraduate attending full time and have earned at least 27 credits prior to Fall 2022. A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and be active in the Center of Applied Media Arts. This non-renewable scholarship cannot exceed full tuition when combined with recipient's current Hastings College financial aid. Deadline: September 30, 2022

  • CIC/UPS Scholarship - is offering a $3,200 scholarship for the 2022-2023 Academic year. Applicant must be a full time Undergraduate who demonstrates financial need. Please complete application. Deadline: October 31, 2022

  • Beacon Scholarship for Rural America - This scholarship will award $1,000 to one winner in the Spring and two winners in the Fall. Applicants must reside in a rural area and meet low income criteria outlined in the application with at GPA of 3.0 or higher. Deadline: for Spring 2023 is November 30, 2022

  • EducationQuest Scholarship - Scholarship amounts vary ($500- $3,500). Recipients must be willing to sign a release to share some personal and financial information to the EducationQuest Foundation. Applicants must demonstrate financial need as defined by the FAFSA, be a resident of Nebraska, have US citizenship, and be enrolled at least half time as an Undergraduate student. Please be sure your 2022-2023 FAFSA is filed so that your eligibility can be confirmed. Deadline: Rolling deadline-applications reviewed as they are completed.

  • The Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award Sweepstakes - No purchase or loan necessary. This Scholarship Award Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the US. Twelve Grand Prizes awarded. A $5,000 check made payable to the qualified institution reflected on the winner's declaration. To enter follow the links and instructions to complete and submit the registration form including a valid email address.

  • Attracting Excellence to Teaching Program - This is a forgivable loan in the amount of $3,000. The loan is forgiven if the student commits to becoming certified to teach in a shortage area AND teaches full time at an accredited or approved public or private school in Nebraska. Students can apply for and receive AETP loans annually. Applications are made available in October each year and are due by November 1st. Applicants must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program to be eligible to apply. For more information contact the Teacher Education Department at Hastings College or the AETP web site.

  • WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) - Providing services to Native American 's with career exploration and guidance, educational attainment, skills training all through Ponca Tribe of Nebraska. Please contact Financial Aid for more information.


2023-2024 Academic year

  • Nebraska Business Hall of Fame - This scholarship is worth $2,000. Applicant must be a full time sophomore or junior college student, must be a US citizen, a 3.0 or higher GPA and demonstrating leadership in extracurricular activities. Deadline: December 2, 2022

  • Michael Moody Fitness Scholarship - This scholarship is worth $1,500. Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement, participation and leadership in school activities and work experience and interest in pursuing a career in the health and fitness related fields. They are accepting scholarship applications from August 1st, 2022 until 1,000 scholarship applications are submitted or August 1st, 2023, whichever comes first.
